Building a Strong A Cappella Community
With the intentions of continuing to build a stronger a cappella community in St. Louis, The Ambassadors of Harmony (www.aoh.org) are hosting a one-day a cappella singing festival, AcaFest! We are inviting local high school and college a cappella groups to perform on stage in front of their peers. Each group will have twelve minutes of stage time, in a round robin format. No judges. No panels. Just singing for one another in a fun, carefree environment. The evening will conclude with a performance by the Ambassadors of Harmony, followed by an afterglow pizza and soda party in the lobby! This event is completely FREE! to attend. Ready to Have Some Fun!?
The festival will be hosted this Fall (date coming soon), at Missouri Baptist University (Pillsbury Chapel). Doors will open to the general public at 2:30 pm. Please note that seating is limited and is on a first come, first serve basis. *Groups will be guided to their assigned seats and will be drawn at random to determine the singing order. Each group will have 10 minutes of stage time. We anticipate the Festival to run about two hours, concluding with a special performance by The Ambassadors of Harmony. Also, we will be taking an audience favorite vote, with the winners being invited to sing on an Ambassadors of Harmony show in front of thousands! After AcaFest, we invite everyone to stick around to enjoy some pizza, sodas, singing and socializing in the Lobby!
*At this time we are only accepting groups with 8 or more members.
Please also note we are looking for a cappella groups which sing in the style of a cappella (www.varsityvocals.com, for example). Thank you.

The Ambassadors of Harmony (AOH) is the St. Louis area's premier men's a cappella chorus of more than 130 voices, known for powerful and musically masterful performances. Its repertoire includes Broadway classics, barbershop, jazz, pop and a wide selection of holiday favorites.

We will only accept ONE registration per ensemble. Teachers / Leaders / Directors of high school or college groups are required to register on behalf of the ensemble; this is to prevent multiple registrations for the same group. At this time, only high school and college groups may participate, no full time or professional groups. Along with your registration, please submit a YouTube link (video) which showcases your group. This will be used to evaluate your acceptance into the AcaFest!
